City water services are metered and all water usage is measured in cubic feet. There are approximately 7,480 gallons per 1,000 cubic feet. The basic rates shown above include the first 1200 cubic feet of water usage. Additional usage is billed as follows:

The City of Cle Elum charges a 6% utilities tax on all water services.
*Each line is also billed a Water Reserve Charge. This reserve fund was established to account for funds, which are intended to be used for water improvements. Expenditures from this fund shall be used solely for improvements to the water system of the City.

This reserve fund was established to account for funds, which are intended to be used for sewer improvements. Expenditures from this fund shall be used solely for improvements to the sewer system of the City.
